Overview:

Elevate your career with CHAGEE as our New Store Opening Manager, where you'll lead the execution of new store launches across North America. In this critical role, you’ll oversee end-to-end opening operations, ensuring that each store is fully staffed, trained, operationally ready, and culturally aligned with CHAGEE’s mission and values. You'll build and manage high-performing opening teams and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless, on-time store openings that set up our brand for long-term success.

What you'll do:

Lead the full opening process for all new stores, ensuring operational readiness, staffing, and compliance with launch timelines and budgets.

Develop and manage a strong team of store managers and station specialists to support openings, problem-solve on-site issues, and deliver consistent operational excellence.

Partner with Training, In-Store Operations, and other internal teams to coordinate resources, address challenges, and ensure a smooth launch experience.

Foster a strong, positive culture in new stores by embedding CHAGEE’s mission, vision, and values through leadership, training, and recognition initiatives.

Rapidly address operational challenges such as staffing shortages, equipment delays, and opening-week troubleshooting to ensure a successful launch.

Ensure stores are operations-ready by creating and completing pre-opening checklists (e.g., equipment installation, inventory readiness, staff onboarding).

Ensure stores pass the quality assessments during the first 90 days of store operations.

Experience you need to be successful:

7+ years of experience in store operations, with a focus on new store openings or high-growth retail environments.

Proven track record of leading teams through critical operational milestones and delivering on ambitious timelines.

Expertise in team building, operations planning, and culture development.

Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with retail operations platforms, technology tools, and reporting systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

Willingness and ability to travel frequently to new store sites.

Exceptional communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department

May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping

Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs

The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on considerations including (but not limited to): relevant knowledge and experience for this position, skills, education, certifications and more.
