ob Title: Senior SDET – Android (Maestro & Kotlin Experience Required) Location: Mountain View, CA Experience Level: 6+ Years Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SDET with deep expertise in Android testing frameworks, especially Maestro, and strong Kotlin development skills.

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of hands-on experience in both Quality Engineering and Software Development, with a strong background in building scalable, automated test frameworks and driving end-to-end quality across mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Android applications using Maestro and Kotlin.

Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure product quality across Android platforms.

Define and drive test strategies, plans, and metrics that support product quality and performance goals.

Own the automation test pipeline and integrate it with CI/CD workflows.

Investigate, debug, and isolate problems and develop appropriate solutions.

Drive continuous improvements in test coverage, execution, and automation.

Mentor junior QA and development engineers in best practices for mobile test automation.

Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software development and quality engineering roles.

Proficiency in Kotlin with hands-on experience building and testing Android applications.

Strong expertise with Maestro (mobile UI testing framework). Solid understanding of Android SDK, testing tools, and lifecycle.

Experience designing and implementing end-to-end automated test solutions.

Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise). Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to other mobile testing tools (e.g., Espresso, Appium). Familiarity with cloud-based device farms (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, AWS Device Farm). Experience with performance and stability testing on mobile platforms.

Location & Work Setup: Role is based in Mountain View, CA Hybrid work model preferred (2–3 days onsite per week)
