The Network Technician role is responsible for managing network infrastructure across client networks at both corporate offices and field locations. This encompasses all aspects of enterprise-wide networking including configuration, troubleshooting, security, and monitoring. This role acts as an escalation point to the endpoint support team. As member of that team, provides support and assistance to users including installation, troubleshooting and upgrades of endpoint solutions.

This role is on-site for first 90 days and then eligible for a hybrid work model with 50% remote work from home.

Base Salary
Network Admin: $75,132 yearly
Bonus Program
Eligible for profit sharing and up to two weeks additional paid time off. Both incentives are based on overall employee performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provision and deploy software defined WAN/LAN (SDN/SD-WAN) networks to include routers, switches, access points, UPSs, and other hardware as required
Analyzes and evaluates technical requirements and specifications for the seamless integration of enterprise-wide networking resources
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service record
Implement firewall and content-filtering rules
Troubleshoot outages, failures, and other incidents related to network performance for small to medium size business networks
Direct self and the activity of others (internal and external) during the testing, monitoring, and installation of network hardware as required
Acts as an escalation resource for endpoint issues related to hardware, application and account management
Inform management of potential network architecture/design problems before they occur and communicate solutions.
Maintains a working knowledge of networking technologies
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Appropriate additional experience beyond the minimum required experience may be substituted for education
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in network administration or similar role
Proven experience and success with LAN & WAN configuration and implementation
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and internet standards
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 implementation
This position requires up to 10 percent travel. This candidate must be willing and able to meet travel requirements when needed
Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Flexibility of schedule is required to meet the global needs of the business
Ability to participate in on-call rotation
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds without injury
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Zyxel networking solutions
Experience with copper/fiber cable management design and best practices
Troubleshooting experience with Wireshark and TCPDump
