Role: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Portland, OR (Remote role, MUST RESIDE LOCAL)
Position Type: Contract (3+ months)
Hourly Rate: $60-75/hr. (W2 only)

We're looking for a Software Developer Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on integrating .NET applications with core insurance platforms. This role involves working with APIs, legacy systems, batch processes, and modern software practices to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do:
Develop, test, document, and maintain complex software systems.
Integrate .NET applications with Guidewire ClaimCenter (experience helpful, not required).
Build APIs and manage FTP/batch processes, including XML file mapping to claims systems.
Troubleshoot and enhance legacy code to meet evolving business needs.
Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and deliver clean, scalable solutions.
Participate in project planning, resource coordination, and success tracking.
Work closely with QA to ensure code quality and continuous delivery.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership on projects.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in software development.
Strong knowledge of:
.NET web applications
VB.NET
API development
(Bonus) Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
