Role Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy Sales / Account Manager (Hunter) with 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience in IT staffing, consulting, or solution sales. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—and play a critical role in expanding Strategic Systems’ client footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
Client Acquisition: Sell IT staffing and solutions services to hiring managers, VPs, and directors in verticals such as Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, and Technology.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
Sales Strategy: Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and pipeline targets. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with delivery/recruiting teams to align client expectations and ensure high-quality placements.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to effectively position Strategic Systems’ value proposition.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of sales experience in IT staffing, consulting, or professional services
A true hunter mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong understanding of client needs, especially in IT staffing and managed services
Experience selling in a consultative, solution-based environment
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
