Database Developer

The Database Developer will be responsible for taking data as provided by clients, preparing it for development, and sometimes implementing the application for a project using a proprietary Java framework.

***Onsite Charlotte, NC Five Days a Week***

Technical Requirements

PostgreSQL Proficiency: Possess a strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database architecture, performance tuning, and administration.

SQL Mastery: Must have the ability to write complex SQL queries, views, and functions to support data discovery and mapping.

OS Environment: Comfortable in a Windows and Linux environment.

ETL Expertise: Demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes. This includes extracting data from various sources, transforming it based on business rules, and loading it into PostgreSQL databases.

Data Discovery: Must have ability to perform complex data discovery and mapping across diverse data structures.

Data Integration: Experience required in integrating data from a range of sources, including but not limited to relational databases, flat files, and third-party applications.

Additional Qualifications

Must work independently and contribute within a team setting.

Excellent communications skills.

Is willing to get his or her hands dirty - we are a small organization that requires all hands-on deck to complete the work required to drive growth.

Must be detail oriented paying close attention to the small particulars when working on a task or project.

Patience when handling tough cases.
