Provides recommendations and insight on data management, governance procedures, and intricacies applicable to the acquisition, maintenance, validation, and utilization of data .W
orks with other team members to resolve any high priority issues.H
elps to manage GAIA application pools.D
esigns and maintains robust software solutions for monitoring and alerting as needed.W
orks with the team on any database performance issues. This will include code performance issues as well as infrastructure issues, sometimes using SQL Sentry.H
elps in monitoring / troubleshooting SQL Server Availability Groups. This will include, but not be limited to replication issues, database failovers and general troubleshooting when necessary.W
orks with the team on certificate tracking and renewals.A

xperience and proficiency with transact SQL.S
trong proficiency in SQL infrastructure, including Availability Groups.I

xperience with internal cloud applications.E
xcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.E
xperience with version control systems like Git and bitbucket for data.P
