Our client is seeking a Box Enterprise Administrator to manage, support, and optimize Box services across a large-scale enterprise environment with over 3,000 users. This role requires strong technical expertise in BoxGovernance, Box Shield, Box AI, Box Hubs, and Box Sign and the ability to automate workflows, manage permissions, and enhance security protocols. The Administrator will collaborate across IT and business units to ensure Box aligns with enterprise policies and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Box Enterprise administration, including user management, security configurations, and policy enforcement.

Manage file and folder structures, permissions, and data migrations to align with enterprise policies.

Implement and optimize automation workflows to enhance security and access control.

Generate reports and analytics for user access, storage usage, and policy compliance.

Integrate Box with Salesforce and other third-party applications, ensuring seamless workflows.

Support and troubleshoot Box-related issues, resolving tickets and optimizing platform performance.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for Box configurations, workflows, and automation processes.

Lead project implementations related to Box system enhancements and policy compliance.

Coordinate with Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams to enforce least-privilege access principles.

Work with IT leadership to enhance Box governance, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.

Participate in off-hours IT maintenance windows for critical system updates.

Initial Project Duties (First 6 Months)

Restructure and automate Box workflows within Salesforce, optimizing folder structures and permissions.

Audit current Box storage usage, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and implementing remediation plans.

Improve provisioning and deprovisioning processes for user access, reducing security risks.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience in Box administration within a large-scale enterprise.

Experience managing IT projects and automation workflows.

Skills & Abilities:

Expertise in Box Governance, Box Shield, Box AI, Box Hubs, and Box Sign.

Strong troubleshooting and system log analysis skills.

Experience with automation tools to streamline workflows and security settings.

Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems (preferred).

Strong communication and documentation skills for technical processes.

Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work across teams and time zones.

Willingness to work outside normal business hours when necessary.
