IT Desktop Support Analyst (Microsoft 365, Windows/macOS, Active Directory)

Optomi, in partnership with a fast-growing enterprise headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an IT Desktop Support Analyst to join their team! In this role, the IT Desktop Support Analyst will provide comprehensive technical support for end users, manage device setups and configurations, and support Microsoft 365 tools. This position offers the opportunity to support both office and field staff, including executives and leadership teams, across a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or a similar technical support role

Proficiency supporting Microsoft 365 applications, especially Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

Working knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD for user management

Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows and macOS laptops/desktops

Familiarity with POS systems and retail-based IT support is a plus

Exposure to imaging tools and endpoint security standards

Understanding of level 1 networking concepts and troubleshooting

Strong organizational and communication skills with a self-starter attitude

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

Provide daily technical support to onsite and field staff, including executives and leadership

Set up, configure, and deploy Windows/macOS desktops and laptops for new hires and refresh cycles

Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 tools, including email, calendar sync, user access, and file sharing

Manage IT asset inventory, perform tagging, and ensure proper tracking of device assignments

Administer user accounts, group memberships, and access permissions via Active Directory/Azure AD

Install, configure, and maintain peripherals such as printers, monitors, docking stations, and VoIP phones

Image and re-image devices while maintaining standard configurations and security compliance

Apply patches and updates to ensure endpoint protection and software currency

Troubleshoot and maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) systems across multiple locations
