US Secret clearance (needed before starting)

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and testing ServiceNow enhancements throughout the software development life cycle. The role involves designing, configuring, and implementing automation solutions in ServiceNow. This role requires significant expertise in handling multiple complex work assignments, where innovation and originality are key. The candidate should have an in-depth understanding of ServiceNow concepts, processes, and best practices, and be able to perform development tasks under little supervision.

The ServiceNow Developer should have a strong background in DevOps and experience in the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment(CI/CD) lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and managing the ServiceNow DevOps module, ensuring seamless integration and automation across development and operational processes. Additionally, the ServiceNow Developer should have experience with the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development:

Design, develop, implement, and test new functionalities using ServiceNow, ensuring they align with user needs and business requirements.

Configure, develop, and test automation solutions for integration into ServiceNow modules.

Develop methodologies and solutions to complex problems.

Set up and manage the ServiceNow DevOps module to streamline development and operational workflows.

Align application data to the CSDM and import data into the CMDB.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of ServiceNow applications.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions with end-users and gather feedback for improvements.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow and DevOps processes.

System Administration:

Administer and maintain functionality within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Support and Maintenance:

Provide support for the sustainment and long-term maintenance of the development work already completed.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as data imports, updates, and system configurations.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new functionalities.

Contribute to key deliverables and performance metrics, ensuring they are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

Clearance:

US Secret Clearance

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its modules, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and PPM

Experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on module configurations and integrations with other tools.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow development, particularly DevOps

Familiarity with Agile methodology

Familiarity with the software development lifecycle

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.

ServiceNow Certified IT Service Management Implementation Specialist

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
