Description:

The Senior OT Documentum Developer is responsible for the end-to-end management, enhancement, and support of Documentum applications within the Shared Documentum infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in OpenText Documentum low-code workflows and related development tools, as well as strategic involvement in planning, optimizing, and evolving enterprise content management (ECM) solutions to align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development & Support:

Design, develop, configure, test, implement, and optimize Documentum-based ECM applications.

Apply vendor-supplied hotfixes and patches to maintain system integrity.

Redesign or modify existing applications in response to changing business requirements.

Technical Leadership & Best Practices:

Translate business and technical requirements into scalable application architecture and design.

Leverage Documentum low-code tools and scripting for workflow development.

Maintain and improve system documentation and technical artifacts.

System Optimization & Integration:

Deploy and configure ECM applications and components.

Optimize application performance and ensure integration with related platforms.

Monitor and assess application performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Database & BPM Expertise:

Apply database management principles, including schema design, modeling, and optimization.

Demonstrate solid understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) in the context of Documentum workflows.

Collaboration & Support:

Act as the SME for Documentum technology, providing guidance across IT and business units.

Work closely with end-users, internal teams, and external vendors to resolve application issues, incidents, and customer requests.

Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements or innovations to the ECM environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience developing and supporting OpenText Documentum applications.

Strong hands-on knowledge of low-code workflow development in Documentum.

Expertise in application lifecycle management, including requirement gathering, design, testing, deployment, and support.

Solid foundation in database principles and application integration techniques.

Experience applying patches, hotfixes, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with BPM and enterprise content management frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of other ECM platforms or tools.

Experience in regulated or document-intensive industries (e.g., life sciences, utilities, legal).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
