One of our staffing partners is helping a financial client hire for a Junior Spring Boot Developer with DevOps experience to develop scalable backend systems while streamlining deployment and infrastructure management.

Salary offered $60-75k per year

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust backend applications using Spring Boot

Implement microservices architecture for high availability and scalability

Write and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration

Set up, manage, and automate CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment

Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for infrastructure management

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software reliability

Requirements:

Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot framework

Expertise in microservices architecture and API development

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation

Familiarity with database technologies (SQL & NoSQL)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize system performance

Bonus Skills:

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack

Knowledge of security best practices for application and cloud environments

Exposure to serverless computing and API gateways
