Data Scientist

Looking for a Mid-Level Data Scientist. You must be in Columbus, OH area because the role is 3 days onsite. The client will not pay for relocation, so if you are interested in relocation you would need to cover your own costs. They will not do C2C or H1B or OPT or H4. They will only accept US Citizens and Green Card holders.

About the Role

This role involves analyzing data and collaborating with teams to generate insights that drive business improvements.

Responsibilities

Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing

Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms

Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production

Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Required Skills

Experience with programming languages R or Python

Business intelligence and data mining tools Tableau and Tableau Server

Direct experience with SQL programming and large database applications such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SPSS, Teradata, and Hadoop
