About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Data Scientist to join our high-impact team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about blending statistical rigor with machine learning to solve complex business problems in routing optimization, capacity planning, and operational forecasting.

What You’ll Be Working On
Immediate Focus Areas:
Develop and optimize routing algorithms to improve operational efficiency.
Lead performance management modeling for workforce optimization.
Conduct capacity planning and forecasting: determine how many routes and resources are needed for future demand.
Build machine learning models to forecast volume and predict resource needs.
Future Focus Areas:
Enhance and integrate machine learning and regression models with core operations.
Explore and implement AI and GenAI use cases across different business functions.
Work cross-functionally to identify new applications of data science and drive innovation
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and validate ML/AI models (e.g., regression, classification, neural networks) that directly impact business outcomes.
Analyze large-scale datasets and build statistical models to identify trends and actionable insights.
Work with leadership to solve complex operational problems using data-driven approaches.
Translate technical findings into clear business insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with engineers and analysts to integrate models into production systems.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across various platforms and processes.
Support strategic initiatives with custom analytics and forecasting tools.
Continuously explore new tools, data sources, and modeling techniques to stay ahead of the curve.
Looking for?
Advanced degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data science, with hands-on experience solving real-world problems.
Strong statistics foundation with deep understanding of regression modeling.
Practical experience applying machine learning techniques at scale.
Demonstrated use of GenAI/LLMs in real-world projects (not just conceptual knowledge).
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data visualization tools for presenting insights.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and tools like Databricks, SageMaker, etc.
Familiarity with Palantir Foundry is a plus
Background in performance modeling, capacity planning, or logistics/supply chain analytics.
Knowledge of modern ML infrastructure and data engineering best practices.
Prior exposure to patent development, innovation projects, or cutting-edge research environments.
