Senior Cybersecurity Admin

Overview:

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Administrator to play a key role in protecting their critical infrastructure. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic hybrid environment (on-premise and cloud) and contribute directly to the design, implementation, and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the infrastructure team to implement and manage cybersecurity solutions

Administer and maintain email security platforms (e.g., spam filtering, phishing protection)

Develop, implement, and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies

Ensure the security, integrity, and proper configuration of the Active Directory environment

Lead the organization’s vulnerability management program across on-prem and Azure environments

Utilize Azure services to support and enhance security posture

Respond to and investigate security incidents and alerts

Provide documentation and reporting related to security controls and incident handling

Required Qualifications:

Strong background in system administration with growing cybersecurity experience

Hands-on experience with:

Active Directory security

DLP policies

Email security platforms

Vulnerability management tools

Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premise + Azure cloud)

Solid understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not required)

Security certifications such as Security+, AZ-500, or similar

Experience in the civil engineering or construction industry is a plus

Proactive and solution-oriented with strong attention to detail
