Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location:

Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Compensation:

$100,000 – $145,000 base salary + annual bonus

Employment Type:

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior SDET to take a leadership role in building out our automated testing frameworks and elevating the quality of our engineering deliverables. You’ll work across agile teams to design, develop, and maintain test automation strategies, mentor team members, and ensure seamless CI/CD integration.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworks

Build and automate test cases, test data, and validation tools

Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)

Collaborate with product, dev, and DevOps teams in an agile environment

Mentor QA team members and promote quality engineering best practices

Provide clear test reporting and feedback across teams

What We’re Looking For:

8+ years in QA, SDET, or development roles

2+ years in a senior-level automation or leadership capacity

Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, Cucumber, TestNG

Strong programming in Java or Python, plus SQL

Familiar with tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, JIRA, Git, JMeter

Understanding of cloud-based systems and CI/CD processes

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with JavaScript, Angular, Spring Framework

Performance testing, Git branching, or cloud infrastructure exposure
