Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to support critical data operations, change coordination, and system management processes. The ideal candidate will independently manage data load jobs, user lifecycle events, system communications, and compliance reporting. This role also supports incident triage, QA testing, and vulnerability reporting, making it essential for the candidate to be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and monitor semi-manual data load jobs (IA and general)
Support and coordinate change management activities
Manage user activations and deactivations
Coordinate system availability communications and updates
Generate and audit reports, including NIST audits, UAF, and commissions-related data
Conduct QA and functional testing for system enhancements and fixes
Triage and analyze incidents to support issue resolution
Monitor shared team mailboxes and respond or escalate as needed
Report and track system vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts
Intake requests and create user stories for development teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
Understanding of data handling, job scheduling, and system communication practices
Experience with QA and functional testing in cross-functional environments
Basic familiarity with compliance audits and vulnerability tracking
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems
Exposure to Agile methodologies and backlog management
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, UAF)
Proficiency in Excel or SQL for data analysis/reporting
