Summary

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you are the driving force behind the growth of LISI Medical's market presence and revenue within your assigned territory. Your primary mission is to aggressively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, while maximizing sales of all LISI Medical service offerings. You are a true "sales hunter"-skilled at prospecting, networking, and closing deals with new clients, while strategically expanding existing accounts. You are the key point of contact for all commercial activities, from generating and negotiating quotes to winning contracts and ensuring client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

New Business Development:

Prospect Relentlessly: Identify and target high-potential customers and projects using data analysis, market intelligence, and proactive outreach (networking, cold calls, tradeshows, digital channels, etc.).

Lead Generation: Consistently generate and qualify leads to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, focusing on new logo acquisition and market expansion.

Opportunity Management: Develop and execute strategic business development plans for your territory, with clear goals and measurable outcomes, tracked in Salesforce.

Quote & Close: Own the end-to-end quotations process-manage RFQs, coordinate with LISI plants, negotiate pricing, and close deals. Drive opportunities through the pipeline to contract signature.

Sales Target Achievement:Take full responsibility for achieving (and exceeding) territory revenue and growth targets by securing new accounts and expanding share-of-wallet with existing clients. Customer Relationship Management:

Strategic Engagement:Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts to uncover new opportunities and influence buying decisions.

Account Penetration:Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and business reviews to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and strengthen LISI's position as a preferred partner.

Issue Resolution:Act as the customer advocate-monitor satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and escalate critical concerns to senior leadership when necessary. Commercial Strategy & Market Intelligence:

Market Mapping:Maintain a comprehensive CRM database with up-to-date information on customers, prospects, competitors, and market trends.

Competitive Analysis:Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, gathering intelligence to anticipate threats and identify new growth opportunities.

Forecasting & Reporting:Prepare accurate sales forecasts and contribute to strategic planning by analyzing pipeline health, win/loss rates, and market share data. Ways of working, Experience, and Behaviors

Networking Pro: Adept at building relationships and leveraging connections to open doors and close deals. Ideally, the candidate has established relationships with key decision makers at medical device OEMs

Strong Negotiator: Skilled in driving complex sales cycles, negotiating contracts, and securing profitable agreements. Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience a technical sales environment.

Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building and conflict management ability

Experience developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for technical products

Broad knowledge of machining practices and manufacturing processes

Demonstrated problem solving skills necessary to deal with volatile, rapidly changing medical markets

Innovative and creative with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills that build successful strategic relationships

Comfortable interacting with high-level managers in large corporations

Working knowledge and experience in medical devices requirements: FDA 21 CFR Part 820 & ISO 13485.

Travel

This position requires frequent travel on a regular basis (>40%) within the assigned territory. All travel to adhere to the LISI Medical Travel Policy. Whenever possible, cost saving measures should be taken.
