JOB SUMMARY
With direction from the Outreach Director, this position is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive direct services to victims of human trafficking. This position leads all activities related to New Life Center's Human Trafficking project including provision of services to victims in emergency shelter and in the community.
This position is also responsible for community outreach, training, and collaboration with Human Trafficking workgroups in Maricopa County as well as data collection and potential grant management related to Human Trafficking.
The position will work in collaboration with all other programs in New Life Center to support the efforts to respond to Human Trafficking.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProgram Coordination
Provide direct service to victims of Human Trafficking in the community.
Provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered support, crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management for survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
Facilitate and monitor all HT case management.
Oversee the HT Transitional Housing Program. This includes monitoring funding, transitional housing payments, leases, participant move-ins and move-outs, and landlord relations.
Ensure timely reporting of relevant project data as required by funders.
Assist with the preparation and submission of grant reports as required by funders.
Deliver training about human trafficking to multidisciplinary audiences in the community and with New Life Center employees.
Works collaboratively with community partners to provide holistic healing options and culturally specific healing modalities to survivors.
Facilitate support groups for survivors.
Transport survivor in agency vehicle as needed, ensuring participant and staff safety.
Provide culturally relevant services to all survivors and their families, including women, men, children, LGBT+, and survivors of diverse ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds.
Accompany survivors when interacting with members of the criminal justice system, including law enforcement, courts, and prosecutors. This includes law enforcement coordination if/when a survivor wishes to file a police report and court accompaniment
Assists with victim accompaniment to emergency medical care and/or medical forensic examinations.
Assesses the level and history of violence experienced and aids in the development of a safety plan for survivors.
Prepare participant files and other records.Community Outreach
Acts as the lead in agency-wide human trafficking awareness, operations, and/or human trafficking initiatives.
Provides agency-wide human trafficking events, training, and educational seminars.
Participates as a lead in all multi-disciplinary team meetings, task force meetings, and community collaboration meetings with meaningful contributions.
Maintains and cultivates relationships with community partners and allied professions to facilitate a coordinated community response to victims of human trafficking.
Participates in local efforts to improve the community's response to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Participate as an active team member of the Outreach Department Team including attending department meetings and coordinating services with Mobile Advocates, Case Managers, and Housing Specialist.
Participate in the Outreach Department's rotating on-call crisis response schedule for at least one week per month, or as scheduled by the Outreach Director.
When on-call, respond on-scene to crisis calls from law enforcement partners, medical partners, and victims as appropriate and ensure proper follow up of services for victims in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:Required
Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in social work, women and gender studies, social justice, counseling, or related field, and 2 or more years' experience within a human trafficking, domestic violence and/or sexual violence program/agency.
Demonstrated expertise in the areas of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual violence and/or homelessness.
Currently possess, or ability to successfully obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance**
Valid Arizona driver's license and insurance.
CPR/1st Aid Certified. **
Negative TB test required. **

Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, women and gender studies, social justice, counseling, or a related field.
Two or more years of experience in developing and implementing a federally funded human trafficking, or similar program.
Two or more years of experience working with victims of human trafficking.
Bilingual English/SpanishAnalytical/Interpersonal Skills
Ability to demonstrate cultural humility and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through with tasks.
Effective time management and ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Highly proficient with computers and software including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
