Lab Tech Sr

Title: Lab Tech Sr.

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12 Months 100% Onsite 1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

Seeking a Lab Analyst to perform nutrient testing on infant, adult, and medical nutrition products. Responsibilities include conducting analytical tests on ingredients and finished products in compliance with safety, quality, and laboratory standards. This role may also involve supporting method development, investigations, and validation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze research samples using established laboratory methods

Compare test results to specifications and ensure complete, accurate records

Operate and maintain various analytical instruments

Conduct wet chemistry testing and troubleshoot atypical results

Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and data integrity

Stay current with sample due dates and manage testing backlog

Self-motivated with minimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving abilities

Adherence to lab safety, cleanliness, and compliance protocols

Education & Experience:

Required:

B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Basic wet chemistry techniques

Preferred:

Associate degree in life sciences with 2+ years of lab experience

Familiarity with HPLC, ICP, LIMS (Sample Manager), and Microsoft Office

Open to new graduates with relevant academic lab experience
