Certified Service Technician – Krieger Ford

Krieger Ford is seeking a skilled and certified Experienced Front-Wheel Drive Transmission Technician to join our growing service team. This technician will focus primarily on diagnosing, servicing, and repairing front-wheel drive transmissions while maintaining the high-quality standards our customers have come to expect.

Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul front-wheel drive transmissions and related systems.

Perform work as indicated on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Conduct test drives and use diagnostic tools to identify issues and verify repairs.

Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify and recommend additional service needs.

Communicate clearly with Service Advisors to ensure customer transparency and satisfaction.

Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in diagnosing and repairing front-wheel drive transmission systems.

Strong understanding of modern vehicle technology and systems.

Ability to use advanced diagnostic and service equipment.

Dependable with excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and commitment to quality work.

Education & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Technician, with specific experience in front-wheel drive transmission work preferred.

Ford or ASE Certifications are a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods.

Capable of working an 8-hour shift on your feet.
