Senior Systems Engineer - Franklin Mountain Management Full-Time

Franklin Mountain Management (FMM) provides best-practice Business Services to FMI and FM family of companies in the areas such as Financial Accounting, Investor Relations, HR, IT, Purchasing and Procurement, Legal, and Risk Management. FMM is seeking an Information Technology professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Systems Engineer. Job Summary:

The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level network and server infrastructure. This role ensures secure, scalable, and high-performance systems that support business continuity and growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in both networking and server technologies, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and automation.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Designs, implements, and maintains multi-site network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, and firewalls, with a focus on performance, availability, and security.

Administers physical and virtual server environments, including VMware/Hyper-V, and core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Supports hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure integration between on-premises systems and platforms like Azure and AWS.

Leads critical infrastructure projects-from server upgrades to network redesigns and data center migration ensuring minimal disruption and high-impact delivery.

Implements and manage backup, disaster recovery, and storage solutions, safeguarding business continuity and system resilience.

Provides high-level technical support, serving as the Tier 3 escalation point and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve complex systems and networking issues.

Perform other related duties as assigned. Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

7+ years in systems and network engineering roles.

Strong expertise in Cisco/Meraki networking, Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), and virtualization platforms.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault), and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG).

Industry certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team communication skills
