Your Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Mechanic, you’ll ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet through:

Diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing vehicles and equipment.

Performing preventative maintenance and inspections.

Documenting service records in the Fleet Management System.

Conducting major and minor repairs on vehicle systems and components.

Sourcing and procuring parts/supplies through national accounts.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You Bring to the Team

A valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.

Self-confidence, emotional stability, and sound judgment under stress.

Proficiency in both light diesel and gas vehicle repairs.

Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Experience with ambulance or emergency vehicle repair is preferred.

Familiarity with computer systems for documenting maintenance activities.

ASE or manufacturer certifications (preferred but not required).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role is active and hands-on, requiring:

Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting items over 50 pounds.

Exposure to loud environments, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions.

Vision abilities including depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.
