Information Technology System Administrator

Job Title: Systems Administrator Location: Toronto ON Reports To: IT Manager Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.

Key duties include managing networks, servers, automation software, and CAD support, while ensuring system security and uptime.

Responsibilities: Manage network devices, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls Monitor and troubleshoot network and server performance Maintain backups, disaster recovery, and security compliance Support manufacturing systems (SAP, MES, Rockwell, Omron) Provide CAD and automation software support Automate tasks using scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) Administer Linux and Windows Server environments Provide technical support and maintain documentation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field 5+ years’ experience in systems administration CCNA or CCNP certification required Experience with NetApp, VMware, and Systems Engineer certification preferred Join a team that’s passionate, driven, and committed to excellence.
