Haas Machinist

Renhill is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (specifically Haas 30/40) Job will be as follows:

Operate CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce metal parts.

Use of Blueprints & Technical Specifications

Review electronic or written blueprints and specifications for a job.

Check accuracy of work against blueprints & specifications.

Use of Materials & Operations

Shape steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, silicon and other materials.

Select tools & materials for the job.

Determine how much material to remove.

Determine how fast or slow work-piece is fed into machine.

Position work-piece on the drill press, lathe or milling machine. Cutting

Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations.

Determine how automated equipment will cut a part

Determine cutting path

Calculate where to cut or bore.

Mark the work-piece to show where cuts should be made.

Adjust cutting speed to compensate for harmonic vibrations

Monitor the accuracy of cuts

Replace dull cutting tools

Shift is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. This is a temp to hire position and pay would be $25-$35 depending on experience.
