Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for creating kits and packing based on work orders, distributing these kits throughout the facility. You will utilize SAP for documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Responsibilities

Create and distribute kits to production based on work orders.

Develop package labels for external customers, maintaining high accuracy.

Work with serial and PO numbers to ensure correct product issuance.

Prioritize tasks effectively and work well under pressure.

Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory efficiently.

Operate forklift, RF scanner, and pallet jack as required.Essential Skills

Material handling and kitting experience.

Proficiency in SAP for documentation and reporting.

Ability to work with serial and PO numbers accurately.

Experience in inventory management and cycle counting.

Forklift operation and RF scanner usage.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Initiative, motivation, and confidence are crucial.

Proficiency in computer skills and basic math.

Attention to detail and ability to read and communicate in English.

Manufacturing experience is required; aerospace experience is a plus.

High School Diploma required; BA/BS preferred for leadership roles.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment with occasional loud noise. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are mandatory. The assignment is temporary to hire over approximately 90 working days, with a focus on attendance and tenure. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM or Monday to Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
