Job Summary
This role is responsible for dispensing spectacles and various optical products to both adults and children, collaborating with prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists. You will assist patients in selecting the appropriate lenses and frames based on style, weight, and color preferences.
The advertised pay range for this position does not account for additional earnings from our spiff program.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify order data entry and ensure Rx accuracy in the system.

Take precise measurements and ensure correct frame selection.
Educate patients on available products to enhance their visual needs, aiming to achieve sales goals.
Engage with members during downtime outside the Optical area.
Adhere to all privacy regulations and support members with eyeglass adjustments and repairs.
Assist the Optical Manager with opening and closing procedures, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
Follow all club policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
Regular, predictable attendance is essential for this role.
Qualifications:
Must hold and maintain a current state optician license.
Knowledge of optical products and business practices is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; experience in retail, wholesale, or optical settings is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills are required.
Availability for flexible shifts is necessary.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Environment:
Frequent movement on hard surfaces; may require bending, handling, reaching, or stooping.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds, with assistance as needed for heavier items.
Typically located in a comfortable indoor environment, though there may be exposure to temperature extremes and noise levels.
Use of optical hand tools to adjust and repair eyeglasses involves handling small components.
The pay for this position starts at $27.00.
