SUMMARY The Structural LHT performs work on assigned aircraft, including assembly, fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft structural parts and subassemblies, adhering to FAA guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

* Install, modify, and repair of sheet metal and airframe structural components.

* Prepare layouts, drill holes, and install rivets.

* Builds structural subassemblies using information from planning documents, engineering drawings, or other documents as required.

* Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints, and other applicable technical data to assemble various aircraft components.

* Uses manufacturing shop stamp to sign off completed work, including manufacturing planning, product assurance records, and applicable program documentation.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work area.

* Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Qualifications SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Experience with riveting sheet metal and performing a layout is required.

* Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical publications required.

* Ability to use and maintain various pieces of ground support and test equipment as required.

* The ability to understand and follow instructions and concentrate is required.

* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

* The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.

* Access to Export Control Information.

* Regular attendance at the worksite.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * This job requires a minimum of a high school education and 3 to 5 years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
