Job Details:
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week) or Part-time (20 hrs/week)
Setting: School-based (Elementary, Middle, and High School)
Assignment Dates: August 11, 2025 - May 21, 2026
Role Overview:
As a School Occupational Therapist (OT) with PediaStaff, you'll provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to support students' academic, social-emotional, and functional development. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students achieve their individualized goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement OT services aligned with student IEPs and Colorado Academic Standards
Assess student needs and provide targeted interventions to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in the school setting
Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of students across ability levels
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth
Collaborate with families, teachers, and school teams to promote student success
Maintain compliance with state/federal laws, district policies, and best practices in school-based OT
Qualifications:
Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License with endorsement as a School Occupational Therapist (Initial or Professional)
Experience with school-aged populations preferred
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
