Controls Engineer

We’re seeking a Controls Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and mechanical control systems across multiple plant operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of process instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee the operation and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation.

Support programming and modifications of automated control systems

Write technical specifications for new instrumentation and manage spare parts inventory.

Provide hands-on training to personnel on the operation and maintenance of computer-controlled systems.

Investigate and troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Act as a technical advisor to chemical plant operations and maintenance teams.

Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and ongoing projects.

Support employee development through training on company policies, procedures, and technical systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).

2–5 years of experience in control systems.

Strong knowledge of process control platforms

Experience with PLCs, control systems, and industrial automation.

Practical experience in the design, installation, and startup of instrumentation and electrical systems.
