Program Manager - Secret or Top Secret clearance

Currently, we are seeking a Program Manager.

This role supports a Navy customer in Dahlgren, VA.

Job Description and Responsibilities: Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activity's and agency's needs.

Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks.

Program Managers are also responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans.

This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources.

Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.

Basic Requirements: Ten (10) years of management experience, with at least five (5) years involving Federal Government programs.

Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute assignments independently.

Have demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management and ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction.

Information Technology (IT) related subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the PWS.

Clearance: Secret with ability to obtain up to Top Secret (US citizenship required)) Education Requirements: Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.

Contract: This position is pending a contract award.
