We are looking for an experienced Director of QA Software to lead and shape the quality assurance strategy across our engineering organization in Dallas, Texas. This role is pivotal in establishing robust QA processes for a groundbreaking network platform, ensuring resilience and precision in highly technical environments. Responsibilities:

• Define and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for a next-generation network platform, setting standards for reliability and accuracy.

• Build and oversee a world-class QA team, including recruiting, mentoring, and establishing operational frameworks.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to integrate quality assurance seamlessly into development cycles.

• Design and scale automation frameworks, performance testing, and failure simulations for distributed systems and secure data layers.

• Partner with security teams to validate cryptographic components, authentication protocols, and system vulnerabilities.

• Establish and maintain testing infrastructure, CI pipelines, and monitoring systems to ensure rapid and confident software releases.

• Lead efforts in performance, load, and stress testing to guarantee system scalability and robustness.

• Advocate for security and trust by embedding QA principles into every stage of development.

• Drive innovation in testing methodologies, including adversarial testing and fault injection techniques.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices, especially for security-critical systems.• At least 10 years of experience in software QA, including significant leadership roles.

• Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing for complex, distributed, or security-sensitive systems.

• Strong technical background, including proficiency in APIs, protocols, backend systems, and infrastructure software.

• Demonstrated success in building QA functions from scratch, including defining team structures and workflows.

• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages like Python, Java, or Go.

• Familiarity with integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development.

• Experience working in high-stakes environments, such as finance, security, or infrastructure.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a history of partnering with Engineering, Product, and Security teams.
