Sr. Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Pasadena, TX. This role will work closely with the Controller and be responsible for preparing financial statements and reviewing journal entries and invoices submitted by AP, AR, and an Accounting Analyst.

Accountant Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

Review journal entries and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Ensure proper accruals are recorded each period.

Collaborate with the Controller on monthly close and reporting processes.

Analyze and manage a detailed 2,000-line Income Statement.

Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience (open to more experienced candidates).

Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month-end close processes.

Experience with Sage Intacct is highly preferred.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

Full-time
