Sr. Software Engineer

Robert Half is seeking skilled Senior Angular Software Engineers for exciting opportunities to build mobile apps and websites for a diverse portfolio of international brands in retail and hospitality. The ideal candidates will have API/web server expertise, proficiency in Angular and TypeScript, and optionally experience with Node.js or AWS to deliver exceptional, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of high-performance, scalable web applications using the latest version of Angular. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate designs and wireframes into clean, maintainable code. Develop reusable components, services, and modules for scalable application architecture. Work closely with Designers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Product Managers to communicate project status and resolve challenges. Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and optimal user experiences. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Mentor entry level developers by conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, Angular updates, and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement within the team. Integrate front-end components with backend services like GraphQL and RESTful APIs. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both production and development environments. Implement secure coding practices and actively engage in security awareness initiatives. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of detail oriented experience in front-end development, with a focus on Angular (latest versions preferred). Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx) and RxJS for handling asynchronous data streams. Experience integrating front-end components with GraphQL or RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Jasmine. Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills, with expertise in troubleshooting complex issues. Background in Computer Science with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Prior experience with test-driven development is a plus. Experience in mobile e-commerce or retail/hospitality technologies is an added advantage.
