Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Systems Administrator for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities

Accountable for ensuring Microsoft Windows patching for laptops, desktops and workstations using SCCM or Configuration Manager.

Responsible for contributing input to system designs and implementations with a dedicated focus

Responsible for maintaining warehouse barcode readers and scanners.

Responsible for printers, print systems, and printer servers.

Collaborates with the IT Operations team to vigilantly monitor security vulnerabilities.

Documents, handles, or escalates cybersecurity alerts and events according to department protocol and procedures, executing established technical process workflows

Configures systems to monitor for indicators of cybersecurity events/compromise

Qualifications

4 years of Systems Administration experience

Basic level understanding of Cyber Security Operations, including monitoring, detection, incident response, and forensics

A+, Networking+ and/or Secuity+ Certifications

Intermediate understanding of networking, internet protocols, and OSI layer models (VLANs knowledge preferred)

The ability to work outside of normal business hours
