Allegiance Staffing in Greer, SC is looking for experienced Slitter Operators for a growing company in Gray Court, SC. Ideal candidate would need 3 years of slitter operator. These are temp to hire 12-hour rotating day shift 7am-7pm or 7p-7a in a climate-controlled space.

Pay:

18.59 1st

20.59 3rd

Shift:

7am-7pm rotating shift

7pm-7am rotating shift

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform set-up, start-up and shut-down of Slitter machine per Standard Operating

Procedures (SOP)

Operate the Slitter machine to get finished goods according to customer specifications under the supervision and direction of the Team Lead or Production Manager.

Set up slitter according to process standards using touchscreen PLC’s

Perform thread-up of Slitter

Verify shift hoist inspection has been completed

Operate winder/slitter hoist to load unit rolls and remove empty mandrels

Manage handling and packaging of finished slit rolls

Monitor slitter while in run mode

Operate shaft extractor

Manage work of Packaging operators

Lead and perform shift clean-up for slitter

Communicate with off going and on coming Slitter Operators to ensure proper handoff

Focus on continuous improvement and problem solving

Provide coverage during absence of other shift technicians
