Job Description
HumCap's client in the aerospace manufacturing sector seeks a Operations Leader to strengthen their global operations team. This hybrid role will drive operational excellence across global manufacturing sites while supporting the growth at our Addison, Texas headquarters and reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will play a crucial role in optimizing materials planning, purchasing processes, and customer order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations Excellence
Drive operational efficiency across global manufacturing sites through data analysis, process improvement, and implementation of best practices
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify improvement opportunities
Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production flow, reduce waste, and improve quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks and supply chain challengesSupply Chain Optimization
Provide hands-on support for purchasing and planning functions for the Alto Aviation business unit
Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management, reduce carrying costs, and ensure material availability
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to strengthen relationships, improve lead times, and ensure quality standards
Analyze and optimize global supply chain operations to support manufacturing efficiencySystems Implementation Support
Support the Oracle NetSuite implementation by serving as liaison between consultants, end users, and leadership
Ensure system configuration aligns with operational requirements and business objectives
Participate in testing, data validation, and user feedback sessions
Deliver training and create documentation to ensure successful adoptionContinuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements across manufacturing operations
Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes
Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvementsQualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in manufacturing operations, purchasing, planning, and/or supply chain management
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite experience preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in fast-paced manufacturing environmentsPreferred
Advanced degree in Engineering or Business (MBA preferred)
Experience in electronic component manufacturing
Background in global manufacturing operations
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or similar regulated industries
Track record of supporting operational excellence during systems transitions
