Position Summary

This position focuses on the efficient movement of materials across the supply chain, incorporating logistics coordination, import/export compliance, transportation management, and inventory oversight. The specialist will oversee replenishment and inventory for Amazon and distribution centers, manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensure documentation aligns with compliance standards, and collaborate with freight forwarders and 3PLs to optimize distribution strategies and reduce costs.

Duties & Responsibilities

The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties and responsibilities required.

Manage international shipping compliance, inventory forecasting, and replenishment across distribution points through stock transfers and direct shipments; identify cost-saving and quality improvement opportunities in transportation and logistics operations.

Oversee inventory tracking and replenishment at Amazon warehouses; reconcile returns, manage aged inventory, and analyze performance metrics to drive operational efficiencies.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies across internal systems and Amazon; collaborate with internal and third-party partners to maintain accurate inventory records and resolve logistical challenges.

Optimize inventory management processes and generate reports on inventory levels, KPIs, and replenishment activities; recommend actions to minimize excess stock and improve accuracy.

Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, procurement, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities with customer demand while identifying cost-effective transportation solutions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Experience working with Amazon FBA (Seller Central) or related sales distribution platforms preferred.

Proficient in ERP systems. SAP S4 experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong understanding of replenishment strategies, inventory management principles, and supply chain operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and optimize processes.

Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights through reports.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

Excellent organizational and time management skills?
