**Job Title: Quality Control Technician**

**Job Description**

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspection and auditing within all areas of the manufacturing facility to assure quality standards are maintained. This role involves participating in the maintenance and improvement of the organization's Quality Management System to ensure customer satisfaction and quality, while coordinating activities to maintain ISO 9001 compliance.

**Responsibilities**

+ Coordinate customer-required pre-press activities for multiple customers.

+ Aid in the administration and execution of facility quality programs, such as Lean and NonConforming Materials.

+ Audit, review, and pre-approve process paperwork for critical customer and production processes.

+ Create necessary and required reports and analyses.

+ Initiate and participate in facility continuous improvement efforts.

+ Serve as a backup quality inspector.

+ Perform other duties as needed and assigned by management.

**Essential Skills**

+ Quality control and assurance experience.

+ Inspection and documentation control expertise.

+ 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality departments.

+ Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications and requirements.

+ Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination.

+ Capability to work independently.

+ Computer literacy, including spreadsheets and word processing.

+ Good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Physical ability to lift 20 lbs.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Guilford, Connecticut.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
