About the Role

We are currently seeking a seasoned Remote Software Architect to drive the design, scalability, and innovation of our digital platforms across healthcare, defense, and aviation domains.

This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll take ownership of core architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and influence product direction with your technical vision. Primary Responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of robust, scalable software architectures

Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices across teams

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align architecture with business goals

Conduct architectural reviews, code audits, and risk assessments

Guide technical decisions related to cloud infrastructure, security, and system integration

Document architecture strategies, workflows, and design decisions clearly

Contribute to the development of high-level prototypes or reference implementations

Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend strategic technology investments

Ideal Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in an architectural or lead role

Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native design, and modern software stacks (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET, Python, Java)

Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead across remote, cross-functional teams

Familiarity with secure development practices and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2)

A background in simulation technology or healthcare/aviation systems is a strong asset
