Job Title: Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Type: Contract (W2 hourly or Corp-to-Corp)

Rate: W2 hourly $50/hr // C2C $65/hour

Location: Hybrid – Minneapolis, MN or Atlanta, GA (2-3 days on site)

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with extensive experience supporting enterprise-level database environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Oracle 19c, performance tuning, and managing large-scale databases across both on-prem and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and support Oracle 19c databases in RAC/ASM environments.

Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex issues.

Implement and manage database partitioning and VLDB strategies.

Administer and secure Oracle RDS instances in AWS, including scripting and automation.

Support Oracle databases running on Exadata infrastructure.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support ongoing projects and ensure high availability and scalability.

Qualifications

10+ years of Oracle database systems administration, including experience with Oracle 19c, RAC, and ASM.

10+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle database performance optimization and tuning.

10+ years managing Oracle VLDB (Very Large Database) structures and partitioning strategies.

2+ years of experience with AWS RDS for Oracle, including administration, security, automation, and CloudFormation Templates (CFTs).

5+ years managing Oracle databases on the Exadata platform, including performance, maintenance, and monitoring.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
