Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator / Forklift Operator
Hours: Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Lincolnton, NC 28092
ProStaffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer of high-quality centrifugal fans and blowers to add a 2nd Shift Machine Operator / Forklift Operator to their growing team.
In this dual-role position, you will spend half of your shift operating machinery to support production and the other half assisting in the shipping department. The ideal candidate will bring both mechanical aptitude and forklift experience to help ensure safe, efficient operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery including presses, stamping machines, and CNC equipment according to safety guidelines and production specs
Perform machine monitoring, basic maintenance, and visual quality checks
Assist with shipping tasks including palletizing, staging, and transporting materials
Operate a forklift safely and effectively to move products and supplies
Follow SOPs and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules
Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality goals
Key Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift certification or proven forklift experience required
Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred
Comfortable working in both production and warehouse/shipping environments
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer knowledge for data entry and machine interface
Hours: Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
