About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional HSE Manager to lead and oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental operations across multiple EPC project sites in Canada. You will be responsible for ensuring HSE strategies are implemented consistently, compliance is maintained with federal/provincial regulations, and a culture of proactive safety is embedded throughout all project teams.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring travel to site locations and close coordination with project managers, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HSE performance across all active EPC project sites in the region.
Develop, implement, and monitor regional HSE policies aligned with company-wide goals.
Ensure full compliance with Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial HSE regulations
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across sites.
Support project teams with incident investigations and corrective action plans.
Promote a strong HSE culture through training, mentoring, and workforce engagement.
Lead HSE reporting, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate HSE risks.
Represent the company with regulators, clients, and third-party auditors as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years' HSE experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industrial EPC environments.
Proven track record in multi-site or regional HSE leadership roles.
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent HSE designation (preferred).
Deep knowledge of Canadian HSE legislation and best practices.
Experience conducting incident investigations (TapRooT, RCA, etc.).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence all levels of an organization.
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across Canada.
