Job Description
The Department of Computer Science invites applications for part-time instructors to teach Introduction to Game Design for the Fall 2025 semester. This course provides a practical foundation in game design with a focus on concept development, prototyping, and design decomposition.
Students learn how to translate game ideas, themes, and metaphors into gameplay, game concept pitches, and design documents using game design principles, physical prototyping, and interactive development suggestive of Agile methods.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a strong interest in undergraduate education.
Either a PhD or MS/MA in Computer Science or Game Development.
Certificates or Postgraduate credentials related to Game Development.
Applicants should submit a CV and cover letter that addresses teaching experience and interest in the position. Please also include availability/preferences for teaching evening sections (6 pm-9 pm once per week). Review of applications will begin July 1st and continue until course coverage needs are met.
