At Card-Monroe, this role is essential in providing frontline IT support to our team members. In this position, you will leverage your foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, and imaging processes to deliver responsive and effective technical assistance. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving Level I support tickets, ensuring accurate maintenance of hardware inventory, and actively contributing to broader IT initiatives.

To excel as a Help Desk Level I Technician at Card-Monroe Automation, candidates must possess a strong foundation in technical skills and problem-solving abilities. An Associate's degree in a relevant field is required, along with one to two years of experience in similar roles. Proficiency in Windows and Office software is essential, as is familiarity with Help Desk ticketing systems to ensure efficient support ticket management. Successful technicians will demonstrate their collaborative spirit by assisting Level II and III technicians with team-based IT projects and supporting Active Directory maintenance and updates. Additionally, basic troubleshooting skills for DHCP and DNS issues are vital for prompt issue resolution.

A solid understanding of contemporary infrastructure and security protocols will further enhance your contributions to our IT initiatives and ensure a secure and efficient work environment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Collaborative Responsibilities:

Assist Level II and III technicians with team-based IT projects.

Support Active Directory maintenance and updates.

Install and configure standard software applications.

Perform basic troubleshooting of DHCP and DNS issues.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Associates degree in applicable field of study

One to two years of experience with similar duties

Knowledge of contemporary infrastructure and security protocols and techniques

Experience with Windows/Office Software
