Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time CADD Drafter to support our drafting department with drawing updates, redlines, and revisions. This role focuses on maintaining and updating AutoCAD drawings related to NVIS installations, MDL/ECO revisions, PMA documentation, and manufacturing parts. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CADD Manager and other team members to ensure timely and accurate updates to technical drawings in support of engineering and production needs.
Responsibilities
Update existing AutoCAD drawings based on marked-up redlines and engineering change orders (ECOs).
Assist with drafting revisions for NVIS installations, PMA packages, and manufacturing or fabrication components.
Organize and maintain drawing files in accordance with company standards and document control practices.
Collaborate with the drafting team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal drafting standards.
Communicate effectively with engineers and team leads to clarify redlines or technical requirements when needed.
Support special drawing tasks or documentation projects as assigned by the CADD Manager.Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong understanding of technical drafting standards.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
Ability to interpret redlines, engineering notes, and update drawings accordingly.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple updates with minimal supervision.
Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in aerospace or manufacturing drafting is a plus.
