Call Center Representative

Coast Electric in Kiln, MS is an electric cooperative that serves the members in Hancock, Harrison, and Pearl River Counties. We're hiring a friendly and professional full-time Call Center Representative to join our team and offer fantastic customer service to our members.

This is an incredible opportunity to advance your career while helping others! Your starting wage is $21.53/hour, and you work a standard Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule. We have a robust benefits package that includes:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1+ years of experience working with the public

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Money-handling skills

Computer proficiency

Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed during outages, major storms and other emergency events

High school degree or equivalent

Team spirit, organizational skills, and attention to detail

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE

This role is vital to our cooperative's success, as you manage member communications, answer their questions, and help find a solution for their problems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve receiving phone calls, forwarding them to the proper person or department, and helping members with their accounts.

Always polite and professional, you assist members in a wide range of areas, including payment processing, billing disputes, and new member applications. You also support office staff, servicemen, and field representatives in their job duties, doing your part to ensure every member is satisfied with our services!
