Ethos Engineering, LLC is a locally-owned structural, geotechnical, and roadway design firm seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Team!

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a structures team; designing and analyzing horizontal structures; and managing structural projects, budgets, and schedules. Structural design includes the design of bridges, miscellaneous structures (roadway, drainage, flood control, traffic) and walls (retaining and sound walls). The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in the transportation market.

Professional Responsibilities:

Leads a diverse team and contributes to the continuous growth of the company.

Leads the analysis/design, review, and quality control of various structural assignments

Develop reports, specifications, drawings, and related documents for transportation and drainage-related structures to meet client requirements

Review construction documents such as shop drawings or contractor requests

Perform site visits to assess existing structures

Provide technical support to construction teams

Prepare cost proposals

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Travel within Arizona to project sites

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field; MS is a plus

Professional Engineer – Civil and/or Structural License is required

Minimum 10+ years of advanced experience working as a structural design engineer on transportation projects

Experience with design and plan development

Detail-oriented with strong skills in steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete design

A broad understanding of transportation structural engineering principles is required

Experience that demonstrates successful structural design and management projects

Design experience with AASHTO and other relevant codes and standards

Proficiency with Microstation Connect, LEAP Bridge Concrete Software, Mathcad, MS Office

Compensation offered is based on individuals’ qualifications and years of experience. Position Range: $165k - $215k
