Job Classification: Hourly, Full time

Supervisor: Director of Quality

Job Summary:

· The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that all manufacturing processes and products meet company quality standards as well as customer and regulatory requirements. This position supports continuous improvement initiatives, oversees compliance with internal procedures and external certifications, and helps reduce waste and improve product consistency.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance.

Knowledge of ISO900, ISO14001, and IATF16949 standard and certified.

Must be well-spoken and able to work with multiple departments to implement change.

Must be organized and capable of retaining records as requested.

Understanding of AIAG Core Tools. Certified in all core tools.

Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures.

Microsoft Office application experience necessary.

Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable self-reliable transportation.

· Work in a fast-paced environment as well as multi-task.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

· Perform inspections, measurements, and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.

· Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation required for audits and traceability.

· Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for non-conformances.

· Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

· Assist in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 or other applicable standards.

· Help prepare for and participate in customer, regulatory, and internal audits.

· Train employees in quality procedures, standards, and tools.

· Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

Internal System Auditor and associated responsibilities of that position.

Audit plant compliance.

PPAP

IMDS

Customer quality system surveys/audits/self-assessments and customer portals.

Customer Scorecards.

Customer specifics.

Plant Quality Meetings.

Assist with internal/external containment when necessary.

Corrective Actions

Document Control

APQP

Gauge R&R’S

Any assignments given by Director of Quality.

Qualifications:

· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software/tools

· Certifications in IATFCompany Description
