Sr. Accountant

Job Description

Robert Half Talent Solutions is working with a global manufacturer in Southwestern Missouri searching for a Senior Accountant. Senior Accountant responsibilities include:

•Preparation of month end journal entries, account reconciliations for inventory and inventory adjustments.

•Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.

•Preparation of financial reports and KPI’s, measuring financial performance related to plant performance.

•Standard costing, analysis of volume produced, material usage, labor cost and overhead.

•Assisting with the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for the plant.

•Ongoing review of Internal controls, process improvement and review of policies & procedures.

•Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Senior Accountant qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

•2+ year of full cycle accounting with manufacturing and standard costing

•ERP software exposure (SAP+), intermediate MS Excel
